Vintage Lorry Marketplace ("we", "us", "the platform") is an online classifieds service that allows private individuals and traders to advertise vintage lorries, spare parts, accessories, and collectibles for sale. By using this platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Age Restriction: You must be at least 18 years old to use this platform, create listings, or submit contact requests. By using the platform you confirm you meet this requirement.
We are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers. We do not buy, sell, inspect, or take possession of any items listed. All sales are directly between the buyer and seller. We are not responsible for the accuracy of any listing, the condition of any item, or the conduct of any user.
By listing an item, you confirm that:
Buyers are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before purchasing any item. We strongly recommend inspecting any vehicle or part in person before completing a purchase. We do not verify the accuracy of listings or the identity of sellers.
Seller contact details are kept private. Buyers may submit a contact request; the seller will decide whether to approve or decline. Approved contact details are shared directly with the buyer by email. We are not responsible for communications that take place after contact details are exchanged.
Auto-Approve Option: When creating a listing, sellers may choose to automatically share their contact details with any buyer who submits a request, without manual review. If this option is selected, the buyer will receive the seller's phone number and email immediately upon submitting their request, and the seller will receive a courtesy notification. Sellers can change this setting at any time by editing their listing.
Administrative Oversight: In addition to the seller, platform administrators have the ability to approve or decline contact requests on the seller's behalf — for example, if a seller is unresponsive. Administrators act in good faith to facilitate communication but are under no obligation to process requests on a seller's behalf.
By creating a listing or submitting a contact request, you consent to Vintage Lorry Marketplace collecting and processing the personal information you provide — including your name, email address, phone number, and location — for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy. This includes displaying your listing publicly, facilitating communication between buyers and sellers, and sending you transactional notifications. You may withdraw your consent at any time by requesting deletion of your data, though this may result in your listings being removed from the platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vintage Lorry Marketplace shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to losses arising from inaccurate listings, failed transactions, or disputes between buyers and sellers.
All listings are subject to review before going live. We reserve the right to reject or remove any listing that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, without obligation to provide a reason.
All listings are active for a maximum of 6 months from the date of publication. After this period, the listing and all associated contact details will be permanently removed from the platform. Sellers will be notified in advance of expiry and are welcome to resubmit their listing if the item remains available. Renewing a listing will be treated as a new submission and is subject to the same moderation process.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
The platform provides an anonymous messaging feature that allows buyers and sellers to communicate regarding a specific listing before contact details are exchanged. Messages sent through this feature are visible to both parties and may be reviewed by platform administrators for safety and fraud prevention purposes. You must not use the messaging feature to send abusive, misleading, or fraudulent messages. We reserve the right to remove messages or restrict messaging access at our discretion.
The platform allows users to register their interest in attending events, meets, and gatherings by submitting an event booking request. By submitting a booking, you confirm that:
You agree to follow any instructions given by event marshals and to take reasonable care at all times, particularly around moving vehicles and when walking among the lorries.
Your booking details are stored securely and may be reviewed by platform administrators. You may request deletion of your booking information at any time.
